COOLHEADS™ was formed in 2010 to manufacture and market its patent pending one of a kind invention - a golf headcover that is also an insulated cooler. The company was founded by Glenn Atkinson and his two sons, John and Blake, who have been associated with amateur golf at all levels; from junior golf to collegiate competition, from the most basic public course to the most exclusive clubs.

They recognized the solution to a problem that is experienced by most all golfers. Few courses allow personal coolers. Many courses often do not have reliable drink cart service or they require rental or a deposit on a cooler. The growing number of adult walkers do not have the ability to carry a cooler. Travelers do not want to pack coolers for their golf trips. Junior golfers are often out walking for many hours without proper hydration. Some golfers have special needs that require cool products.

COOLHEADS™ provides a solution to these problems by allowing the golfer to take the same headcover(s) that he carried to the course, add ice and drinks when available and have a reliable source of quenching their thirst. As a bonus, the headcover drains continuously, making it easy to keep a wet towel. It is made of sturdy, lasting materials that keep drinks cold in extreme heat for the whole round. Golfers can now know that cold refreshments are under their control.
